The rolled and wrapped carpet hovers
approximately 16 cm above the floor. The
carpet belonging to family Buck and sent
to her by her Mother remains unrolled
for over 16 years – its decorative scene
and what she remembers of it exists as a
personal narrative as much as it does an
art historical and sculptural narrative.
